Before Main Street Stage is taken over by the talented folks for their production of “On the Verge”, RBIT will rock it out one time in October!!!! This Saturday October 9, at 8pm. RBIT has some new games plus your old favorites. Lex is back, Lisa is back, what else do you need to convince you. Come on down to Main Street Stage, only $10.
RBIT returns to BSC- Stage 2 in Pittsfield
Come check out RBIT’s first gig in Pittsfield since our TheatreSports competition against MopCo this summer. If you have seen use before, we have new games, and besides its improv; every show is different. The hilarious and amazingly spontaneous show is on Saturday October 2 at 8pm and is only $10, you can pay at the door. RBIT is a comedy improv group that has been delighting audiences with its own brand of non-scripted comedic mayhem since June of 2001. Performing a mix of theater games reminiscent of the TV show Whose Line Is It Anyway?, the group models its work on the teachings of renowned theater games/improvisation instructor Keith Johnstone. Through audience participation, RBIT’s mission is to create entertaining scenes which explore the boundaries of theater improvisation.

TheatreSports match in Pittsfield, 2010
Back in the summer of 2010, RBIT Mopped up the floor with members of MopCo. Beating them in a much anticipated, fully packed, riveting, on the edge your seat TheatreSports match that took place at the New Stage in downtown Pittsfield, MA. MopCo is mad and wants revenge. They have asked us to meet them on their home field in Schenectady. We will be there with Frogs on to take those Mops out to the Ringer.
This Friday, September 24 at 8:00pm at Proctor’s Theatre, the re-match is set.

The Royal Berkshire Improv Troupe (RBIT)- the Berkshire’s Premiere Cultural Improv Troupe is back at it’s funniest this Fall. We will return to our home field of Main Street Stage, 57 Main Street, North Adams, on Saturday September 18 at 8:00pm, The show is only $10 and you can buy tickets at the door.
THIS JUST IN…. There have been some rumblings about a TheatreSports rematch between MopCo and RBIT. This steel cage ultimate fighting Improv match will take place in Schenectady at Proctors. More info to come.

RBIT steering the train to Funny Town
RBIT @ Berkshire Theatre Festival, watch out Stockbridge you will never be the same
On Friday August 20 at 10pm. RBIT will be a part of the Story Time, the Friday Night Series on the Unicorn Stage at Berkshire Theatre Festival. This late night Cabaret is a mix of David Letterman and Saturday Night Live. Hosted by E. Gray Simons and Frank La Frazia it features original works from the BTF company, interviews with celebrities, and this week it includes RBIT. What else could you ask for? Royal Berkshire Improv Troupe (RBIT)- the funniest thing in the Berkshires- announces today their August performance at Main Street Stage, located at 57 Main Street, North Adams. The show will be Saturday August 14 at 12 midnight. Tickets are $10 at the door.
This special late night performance is part of Explore North Adams at the Wilco Solid Sound Festival. After Wilco comes down, hit the streets of North Adams for food and nightlife and come check out RBIT at midnight.

(MOPCO) and The Funniest Thing in The Berkshires, Royal Berkshire Improvisation Troupe (RBIT) to face off in a friendly one night only Theatresports tournament to raise funds for WAM Theatre’s production of Sarah Ruhl’s ‘Melancholy Play’, which will take place at the NEW STAGE Performing Arts Center (NSPAC) in November 2010.

The Royal Berkshire Improv Troupe (RBIT)- The Funniest Thing in The Berkshires, will be bringing back more of its unscripted comedy to The Main Street Stage on Saturday July 17th at 8pm. Come on down and check out the 90 minute tour de force that is RBIT, you will see theatrical scenes that have never been done before; PRESTO, created right in front of your eyes.
